"Our Bistro is not just an average restaurant around the block.
It brings about a true sense of home away from home... blended with exotic food, Middle Eastern hospitality, and the culinary history of the Mediterranean." - Myrna Yannieh

The exceptional freshness, the flavorful Mediterranean spices, and the metaphor "food as your first medicine" set Myrna’s Bistro apart from standard Mediterranean restaurants.

Lebanese cuisine is the epitome of the Mediterranean diet. Seafood and vegetables are the predominant ingredients in a traditional meal, using meat as an accent to the hearty flavor.
Simple ingredients (such as fresh lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil), herbs, and spices (such as all spice, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, sumac, 7-Spice, thyme, and oregano) enhance a vibrant, healthy cuisine.

Myrna Yannieh is a beautiful and successful businesswoman who combines a genuine love of her culture and heritage with a sincere appreciation for her new found homeland.

She brought to Fairfield County its first truly authentic Lebanese cuisine; a tribute to her mom’s home cooking. Her mother, Laudi Sophia (Seen in the photo second from right), inspired and taught Myrna to prepare a healthy meal using wholesome, old-fashioned methods.

While many Mediterranean restaurants aspire to make authentic meals, they cannot duplicate the aromatic flavor of Myrna’s Bistro whose secret lies in "the freshness of the ingredients, the hygiene of our kitchen and restaurant, the time we take to carefully prepare even the simplest dish, and the utter satisfaction we gain from making our customers happy"... as Myrna so eloquently puts it.
Myrna and her team spare no effort to prepare and serve exquisite food. They hand select their ingredients to insure that your dining experience is of the highest quality.

Service at Myrna’s Bistro comes from the heart and reflects traditional Middle Eastern hospitality.
Traditionally, a meal starts with a cold or hot mezza (the appetizers). The Mezza includes hummus, baba ghannouj, grape leaves, falafel, kibbé, yogurt cucumber salad, and taboulé with pita bread.
The main course contains kebabs featuring charcoal grilled lamb, chicken, or beef; fresh seafood; or vegetarian meals such as okra, moussakaa, and couscous. After the meal, they offer a delightful selection of homemade baklava, which comes in four flavors: pistachio, walnut, pine nut, and cashew.

Established in 2003, Myrna’s Mediterranean Bistro has quickly become a favorite dining destination.
For members of the community from the Middle East who crave cooking that is reminiscent of their grandmothers’ kitchens, or for anyone who enjoys traditional but inventive and aromatic healthy food, Myrna's is the place to be!
